2 Levels of bachata classes in Belfast!
Discover the amazing dance that is Bachata in the Belfast Boat Club every Wednesday evening.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, this type of music and dance is characterised by its smoothness and grounded nature, focusing on connection and enjoyment, Bachata is a great introductory dance style to open yourself into all styles of social latin dancing.
Timetable:
7-8PM: Beginner/improver level. Learn the foundations, get to know the music and to develop body awareness and control. Start learning your first combinations and discover how to lead and follow those on the social dance floor.
8-9PM: Free taster class + Bachata social: A chance for students and experienced dancers to come together and practice the concepts learned "in the wild", if you have never danced Bachata before, come over during this hour and ask anyone for the teacher, they'll point you in the right direction and we'll teach you your very
first steps!
9-10PM: Improver/Intermediate: Bring your level up a notch, deeper dive into lead-follow techniques and more complex movement combinations.
