Join chef Conor Spacey with Food NI & UU to explore Northern Ireland's Food Strategy and unlock new opportunities in food education.
About this Event

Northern Ireland’s food system is at a defining moment. The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has launched a new Food Strategy Framework, setting out a vision for a food system that is environmentally sustainable, economically ambitious, and delivers safe, nutritious and accessible food for all.

Education has a central role in realising this vision.

This twilight event invites Home Economics and Hospitality teachers and education professionals to join Food NI and Ulster University for an engaging conversation on how the Northern Ireland Food Strategy Framework can be embedded within the current curriculum and inform future curriculum development. The event is supported by the Northern Ireland Regional Food Programme (NIRFP).
