ALD
Since 1975 the PACM has held consistently to the ideology of Pan-Africanism. It is a Revolutionary Pan-African organisation holding to the principles and practice of race first.
The organisation is the major Pan-African organization in this UK, and the one that has remained the most consistent and determined. One of the major programmes of the organisation is the observation of ALD every year for three days over the bank holiday weekend closest to the 25th of May (the official date of ALD as designated by the Organization for African Unity (OAU)).
ALD is an international forum where Africans can get together in an exclusive gathering to plan and discuss strategies for our liberation.
May 2025 will be the 50th consecutive ALD commemoration that the PACM will observe. As well as the 50th anniversary, the PACM will be promoting the theme of the Grand African Renaissance for ALD, which has been a theme for a number of years due to its importance.
