About this Event
This workshop introduces participants to the technique of painting on milk, where colour floats on the surface of milk and forms swirling, marbled patterns. Using simple tools and vibrant pigments, participants experiment with fluid dynamics, organic shapes, and spontaneous composition before transferring their designs onto paper.
Milk’s natural fats allow paint to rest on the surface rather than sink, creating a playful, ever-changing canvas. As colours move and interact, participants explore the beauty of unpredictability, flow, and abstraction.
Structure:
1. Introduction + demonstration of the milk painting process
2. Experimentation with colour drops, swirling tools, and pattern techniques
3. Creating multiple marbled prints on paper
4. Drying and optional group sharing
Duration: 1,5 h
