A Rolling Stones reporter (John Travolta) investigates the latest trend – health club craze turned hangout and pickup spot. Along the way he becomes enamoured with a gorgeous aerobics instructor (Jamie Lee Curtis) who invites him into her world as she and her peers pursue perfection and love.

James Bridges is known for hot and raw flick Urban Cowboy and the critically acclaimed film The Paper Chase. Bridges has a penchant for tangling his protagonists into complicated situations and even more complicated relationships. PERFECT is inspired by the 1983 Rolling Stone article by Bridges co-writer of the screenplay Aaron Latham. This title is meant for Paid in Sweat, in style and in good old-fashioned sweat, and has been a long time coming. We have the pleasure of screening it in GLORIOUS 35MM. It is not easy to see Perfect on the big screen, and digital transfers have not been kind to the format and vision for the film. This viewing will be rare indeed.
