A RARE VISIT FROM THE ANDES
Dallas will receive a rare and extraordinary visit from the high Andes of Peru.
Don Sebastián Pauccar was born in the Q’ero Nation, a remote Indigenous community high in the Peruvian Andes southeast of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inka civilization. The Q’ero are widely recognized as the last living descendants of the Inka. When the Spanish arrived in the 16th century, the Q’ero retreated deep into the mountains where they preserved their spiritual cosmology and healing traditions for centuries.
These teachings have been transmitted orally and ceremonially from generation to generation, rooted in profound relationship with Pachamama (Mother Earth), the Apus (Mountain Spirits), and the sacred principle of Ayni — living in reciprocity with all of life.
Don Sebastián comes from a lineage of medicine people. His initiation began in childhood after being struck by lightning, an event understood in Andean tradition as a powerful spiritual calling. Since then, he has walked the path of a Pampamisayoq, a high-level Andean wisdom keeper and healer.
Together with Pameqora (Melissa Ramos) of Pachahunai, he will share ancient healing traditions and initiatory teachings from the Andean cosmovision.
