Confronting Barriers to the Clean Energy Transition in Northern Ireland

Re-thinking Policy, Planning, and Participation

Join us in person for this Panel Discussion event with multi-sectoral leaders on the energy decarbonisation landscape in Northern Ireland and Belfast city to discuss the challenges facing Northern Ireland's shift to clean energy. We'll dive into what’s holding us back and explore fresh ideas to push the transition forward.

The event will consist of two panel sessions of 1 hour each including time for audience Q&A at the end of each session. Panel 1 will focus on “Energy Transition Barriers in Policy, Planning, & Participation”, while Panel 2 will focus on “Actionable Pathways for Meeting NI's Clean Energy Targets”.
