Outreach & Community Social for Transportation Champions

Join the Bike, Walk & Bus PAC for a community outreach event in Ward 1 as we support our endorsed candidates: Oye Owolewa (At-Large), Candace Nelson (At-Large), Aparna Raj (Ward 1 Council), and Janeese Lewis George (Mayor).

From 2:00–3:00 PM, we’ll be engaging with residents near a local Metro stop—talking with voters about the importance of safer streets, better transit, and more walkable communities across D.C. This is a great opportunity to connect directly with neighbors and help build momentum for candidates who champion people-centered transportation.

From 3:00–4:00 PM, we’ll transition into a volunteer social, giving folks a chance to relax, connect, and build community with fellow advocates.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or brand new, we’d love to have you join us for part—or all—of the afternoon.
