OurFarm Volunteer Day at The Covenant House Greater Washington

Join us for a Volunteer Day at our Covenant House Garden Sanctuary! You'll help us plant our garden beds, refresh our landscaping, and upgrade our compost system. Free lunch and refreshments will be provided by Nurture Greens. Your efforts will help OurFarm continue to use this space to grow fresh food for The Covenant House youth, as well as for the surrounding community. You'll also get the chance to learn more about the work we're doing in the Greater Washington area to grow, feed, educate, and inspire communities towards a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient food system.

This will be an accesssible event and all ages are welcome - please let us know if special accommodations are required.

This is a free event, but we would appreciate a donation if you'd like to help us cover the costs of this event and the ongoing maintenance of the garden.

About The Garden Sanctuary at The Covenant House

We created this peaceful garden space to be a source of fresh produce and engagement for The Covenant House and the surrounding community. We need your help to make it productive and beautiful this growing season.

We're also raising money to cover the costs of maintaining the Covenant House Garden through a Salad Fundraiser from Nurture Greens. $5 of every salad purchased goes towards our fundraising goal of $2500.
