About this Event
Join rural riverside flaneuse Josie Purcell as she takes you for a meander along the streams of St Agnes* and discusses new ways of seeing freshwater habitats on your doorstep.
As an eco-photographic artist, Josie’s practice is embedded in raising awareness of environmental issues, with land/water access themes included. This has informed her PhD research with Falmouth University, Rivercideotypes: an exploration of abstract eco-photography, phytoremediation and plant intelligence as mediator between humans and river health.
Come along to discover how you could build kinship with freshwater environments and even see them in new ways, as we work towards better access to the watery, wild spaces we are currently excluded from.
