Welcome to our first event! we will be hosting a poetry open mic bonanza! come on down to the Rechabite basement and give us your words to sip on.
doors open 5.30 event starts at 6!
you will have the delightful option on whether or not you would like to be accompanied by our musician/s for the night or take on the stage yourself.
our first events theme will be...
Genesis: what is a beginning? do you have stories of your own origin? does your work have possible religious references and underlying commentaries? are you a big fan of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion?
pieces of work based on the theme is far from mandatory but if you do so feel like it or need a writing prompt, go nuts! though we are happy for any words you'd desire sharing with us.
