Our Drag Means Slay at Dorothy

Avast, Chicago! Prepare to embark on a night of fantastical fundraising during C2E2 weekend at our fabulous drag and variety show! Inspired by HBO Max's hit series 'Our Flag Means Death' our event unites a diverse array of performers driven by their deep passion for the show and their earnest desire to enact positive change in the world. Expect mayhem, madness, shenanigans and possibly a fuckery or 2!

Our cast is helping to raise spirits and funds for the Lighthouse Foundation here in Chicago.

Our multi-talented lineup will take you on an adventure over the high seas, all while supporting an organization that supports the local LGBTQ+ community and celebrating a show that continues to inspire creativity, community and charity. Tickets are $35 for limited VIP full stage view seating and $25 for general admission in advance ($30 at the door). Dorothy is CASHLESS, so bring your singles to tip your performers!

Doors open at 6pm and kick off with a one hour happy hour before our show begins at 7pm. Dorothy remains open until last call at 1am.

Dorothy is 21+ and requires physical ID for all to enter. Dorothy is also ADA accessible with elevator access on Campbell Ave. If you are a guest who requires elevator access, please wait by the black door on Campbell Ave with our logo in the window and call our staff to assist: 773-770-3799

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION + PERFORMERS

The Lighthouse Foundation of Chicagoland is a Black LGBTQ+ led, multiracial social justice organization that advances justice for Black LGBTQ+ people across Chicagoland through spirituality, arts programming, and workforce development initiatives. Shea Butta (she/her) - Coming to you once again as your most audacious MC, Chicago’s very own premier Spanish Jackie cosplayer. She’s ready to entertain you with her quick wit and chaotic hosting skills! For the 3rd year in a row we bring to you Shea Butta!
Polly Amour (she/her) - Polly Amour: The girl next door and so much more! A geeky school girl meets amorous vixen, Polly sings, dances, shimmies, and shakes. She specializes in cosplay geeky burlesque and tries to bring a nerdy element to all of her acts. She's been a core member of the Brew City Bombshells in Milwaukee, Wi since 2010.
Lizzy Leo (She/Her) - Third time's a charm! Hailing all the way from New Jersey, it's Lizzy Leo! A life time performer, verteran cosplayer, avid tattoo collector (yes, she got several of Edward Teach's canon tattoos, she's that person), Lizzy is the co-producer for the East Coast based nerdlesque troupe, The Scarlett Mafia. She's so excited to be back and performing with this band of puppets once again!
Irritable Brat Syndrome (they/xe/little shit) - Irritable Brat Syndrome (iBrat for short) was once called "ominously cartoonish" by a burlesque producer. Since then, iBrat has made every effort to become worse.
Polly Cocktail (She/They) - Polly Cocktail is a draglesque and pole dancer serving disaster himbo energy to dad rock hits from every generation. They’ve performed in previous OFMD themed drag and variety shows, as well with Plan 9 Burlesque in Chicago. She'll melt your insides--it's Polly Cocktail!
LVRBOY (She/They) - After first trying drag in college and falling in love with it immediately, Lvrboy is more than excited to be back with Our Drag Means Slay! Luvrboy hails from the Twin Cities and regularly sings and performs in theatre shows, your local drag thing, still pretty new to drag but always ready to go!
