OpenNebula Certified Practitioner Training
Overview
This is a beginner-level course designed to introduce IT professionals to OpenNebula. The course covers the process of installing, configuring and operating enterprise clouds and virtualized data centers using OpenNebula. This course helps anyone who wants to set up a small-scale OpenNebula test environment to gain experience working with OpenNebula. Participants will be able to learn cloud architecture design, planning and installation of OpenNebula software, basic configuration and usage of the main components. Course is aimed to prepare the participant to take the ONE CP exam.
Methodology
The course is delivered by OpenNebula trainers using live demonstrations, pre-made slide decks and incorporates different hands-on labs and other activities, allowing participants to apply the training content into action.

This is the beginner-level course designed for the users, administrators and maintainers that are just starting with OpenNebula.

After the completion of this course a participant will be able to:

Hands-on Labs
Each participant will receive a lab environment, consisting of one OpenNebula frontend node and two hypervisors, accessible through SSH. Participants are the owners and administrators of their labs. They are able to deploy Virtual Machines, make any configuration changes, debug any issues, access the GUI and the CLI.

Prerequisites
No prior OpenNebula skills are required, but participants should have working knowledge of virtualization, networking and Unix/Linux systems.
A person attending this course should have a stable internet connection, ability to connect to public IPs using the SSH, HTTP, HTTPS protocols.

Attendees PDF handbooks will be available for download before the beginning of the course.
Certification Exam
Upon completion of this course, participants will be enrolled in the OpenNebula 6.10 Certified Practitioner exam. The course fee includes the exam attempt.
