Come for a picnic to celebrate the launch of our new art installation, Twin Urns, by Chloe Seibert.
About this Event

Bring a snack and join us for the opening of Twin Urns: Two ceramic urns installed on the footpath of the Queens Botanical Garden transform visitors’ inner thoughts into fertilizer for the plants. On slips of paper made from garden waste, visitors can write down their desires, wishes, fears, secrets, or anything they wish to get off their chest and place them into either the Manifestor or the Incinerator. At the end of the season, the papers will be burned in a cleansing ritual and incorporated into the garden's compost program.
Chloe Seibert is an artist living and working in Queens, New York.
