Luismi Partera, this wonderful, beautiful and talented musician from a country called Spain and a city called Grenada and is back with us on Sunday, and he's gonna be the salt in our sandwich. Deeeelicious!!! Where are you from? Which country, county....Do you love it? ME? Well I loved Spain, I don't know if I love Portugal to. But like my favourite whisky, which used to be Lagavulin, before that it used to be Talisker. But now it's not. Tastes change. "Too much of a good thing" isn't so deceiving a saying. I once ate so many oyster I had to break from them for 20 years. Couldn't even look at one. But guess what, now I'm into them again. Like Stanley Kubrick film conspiracies. Like burnt toast.
What's my favourite country right now? Definitely Germany. It houses me, it loves me, it's like my racist uncle sometimes, but we just shake our heads and let him get away with hell! Oh uncle.

BIO:
Luismi Partera (Cádiz, 1993) is a composer, singer, and guitarist who dedicates his life to the search for textures and harmonies.
Spotting the links between jazz, intimate singer-songwriter music, and traditional music, he has created a work with its own unique flavor that is both emotional and evocative. Sanjuán is the meeting point between a child and his monster.
Following the release of his single Vendrás (2024), a two-part elegy to one of the most important people in his life, he is now working on his next album, Casapuerta, in which he revisits his roots and explores the connection between music from both sides of the Atlantic.
