About this Event
This night is a celebration of the incredible talent right here in our beautiful Squamish community.
We have had 4 previous Showcases, with each night packed full of the most incredible local talent around. This final showcase is our way to share with the community the most loved artists who have performed throughout the series.
The talent was too great for us to choose our favourite performers, so it is up to YOU, THE AUDIENCE to decide! All you have to do is go to the following link and vote for your favourite Open Mic Showcase performer: https://form.typeform.com/to/VtRg1N9z
Whoever gets the most votes will get the opportunity to help close out the Showcase series. Winners will be announced via the BAG socials by May 15th. As always, we will also have some curated artists who will be performing on the night bringing some of the most eclectic and heartfelt evening of music, poetry, spoken word, and artistic expression!
You can trust your hosts Amanda and Dom to keep the energy high, the laughs rolling, and the good vibes flowing.
WE ALSO HAVE ONE VERY SPECIAL SECRET GUEST WHO WILL BE GRACING THE STAGE TO HELP US CLOSE OUT THE SERIES IN STYLE. MAKE SURE YOU COME EARLY TO GET YOUR SEAT AND BE PART OF AN INCREDIBLE NIGHT OF ART IN SQUAMISH
OPEN MIC SHOWCASE - THURSDAY MAY 28th 2026 - 7PM - ALL AGES
Cost: FREE—No tickets needed!
Come early for dinner and drinks before the show.
Open Mic Showcase Performers:
1. Richard Maggs
Richard Maggs started playing guitar hero in 2007 in his friend’s basement in Elora Ontario. The controller he uses is now more complicated and he doesn’t get to read the notes off the tv anymore but in his own weird way he’s kinda tricked you into watching him play video games. He hopes you will enjoy whatever he managed to plan between submitting this bio to Amanda and the rapidly approaching deadline that he is definitely not procrastinating and underestimating.
