About this Event
This is a welcoming space for anyone who wants to share something real in front of a room of real people. Whether that’s a poem, a story, a stand-up set, a reflection, or something still taking shape.
It’s not about being “perfect.”
It’s not a competition.
It’s not about performance.
It’s about showing up, being heard, and being with others who are doing the same.
Some people come to speak.
Some come to listen.
Both are equally part of the room.

**How it works:**
- Sign up to perform when you arrive (limited spots available)
- Each performer gets up to 10 minutes (you don’t need to use all of it)
- All styles welcome: spoken word, storytelling, poetry, comedy, reflections
- Respectful, grounded space. No hate speech, no selling, no pitching
We kindly ask attendees to support the the cafe by making a purchase, as they are providing the use of their space at no cost for this event. They support the community, so let’s support them back!

**Q: Do I need to sign up in advance to perform?**
A: No. Sign-ups happen at the door on the night. Spots are first come, first served.
**Q: What can I share?**
A: Anything you’d like to express in spoken or performance form: stories, poetry, comedy or something in between. Keep it authentic and respectful.
**Q: Do I have to perform if I attend?**
A: Not at all. You’re welcome to simply listen and be part of the room.
**Q: How long do I get if I perform?**
A: Up to 10 minutes. You’re free to use less.
