An Interactive, Live Webinar
Sunday, February 23, 2025
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Eastern Time
What is loneliness? It goes hand in hand with loss and alienation. It strongly impacts mental health, physical health, and spiritual health. According to the studies by Cigna and Kaiser Permanente, it has reached epidemic level proportions in the United States, the UK and Japan. This workshop will help clinicians develop a greater understanding of loneliness and the different types of loneliness. Bibliotherapy (the use of poems, story, and symbol) empowers clients to unpack feelings and explore coping strategies. Techniques will be demonstrated with the workshop participants who should bring a pen, paper and an open heart to this experience.
