This TenU event One Year One Mission: Celebrating the Spinout Review will bring together universities, investors, founders and other key innovation stakeholders to celebrate the successful implementation of the Review’s key recommendations.
Hosted by Tim Haines, Executive Partner at Abingworth and Chair of TenU, the event will start with refreshments at 15:00, feature speeches and panels from 15:30 to 18:00, close with a drinks reception until 19:30.
The event will showcase the progress led by Research England in implementing the recommendations of the government-commissioned Independent Review of University Spinouts, highlighting achievements such as the widespread adoption of the USIT Guides across the UK; collaborative efforts by universities and key stakeholders to establish joint technology transfer offices, and ongoing initiatives on proof-of-concept funding.
