About this Event
Drop into the RHS Lindley Library for our new lunchtime talk series: Lindley Live!
Join our Assistant Librarian, Nicky, as we discover one of our most unusual archives: the Ruhleben Horticultural Society. Explore the story of the unlikely gardening club set up in an internment camp in World War One Germany.
Our informal talks offer a 15 minute introduction to the treasures of our Library collection to liven up a lunch break. No need to book, just drop in.
This talk is part of our Winter Series of Lindley Live, every Tuesday at 1:15pm at the RHS Lindley Library, 80 Vincent Square, London, SW1P 2PE:
Tuesday 12 November: Pteridomania - The Victotian Fern Craze
Tuesday 26 November: Paradisi in Sole - Creating a Paradise Garden
Tuesday 3 December: Painted Leaves - The Hidden Story of a Library Treasure
