About this Event
If you’re a comedian who’s tired of only building “sets” and you want a full SHOW—this is the program.
The One Person Show Workshop is an 8-week, comedian-focused training designed to help you create a structured, stage-ready solo performance. You’ll take your funniest stories, strongest premises, and real life moments and shape them into a 15–30 minute One Person Show with clear structure, transitions, pacing, and presence.
This is the lane that helped solo performers create memorable theatrical comedy shows like:
Hasan Minhaj (Homecoming King) • Mike Birbiglia (The New One) • John Leguizamo (Latin History for Morons)
What you’ll learn
✅ Story & structure (acts / chapters / beats)
✅ Scripting & transitions (how to connect the whole show)
✅ Stage blocking & presence (movement, pacing, confidence)
✅ Rehearsal strategy (tightening, memorizing, polishing)
✅ Showcase prep (strong opening + strong closing)
Graduation Showcase
The program ends with a Graduation Showcase where participants perform their solo work for a live audience.
