On the Journey: Everyday Play
In Indigenous worldviews, play is learning — a lifelong, circular process rooted in exploration, relationships, and connection to the land. This interactive workshop invites participants to reflect on how knowledge is shared across generations and how teachings return in new forms as we grow.
Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and conversations, participants will explore ways to weave play, relationship, and land-based learning into everyday practice, nurturing children’s natural curiosity and sense of belonging. Participants will also have an opportunity to explore books and materials from the Indigenous sharing kit, 'Everyday Play'.
