About this Event
This four-part series offers care partners of persons living with dementia an opportunity to explore an overview of the dementia journey in an interactive and supportive atmosphere. Each live session features a workbook and helpful follow-up resources to support all learning types.
Week 1: What is Dementia? (March 3rd)
First in our four-part series, this session will provide an overview of symptoms, responding to a diagnosis, treatment and being a care partner.
Week 2: Adapting to Brain Changes (March 10th)
Second in our four-part series, this session explores changes in the brain, adapting to change and maximizing brain health.
Week 3: Planning Ahead (March 17th)
Third in our four-part series, we will talk about common risks people living with dementia may face and how to manage these by planning ahead. We will talk about making legal and financial plans.
Week 4: Building a Circle of Support (March 24th)
Last in our four-part series, this session will help care partners learn how to recognize stress, manage stress and build a circle of support.
