An oil anointing ceremony will take place at the beginning of this sound healing journey. Sacred Oils are powerful tools for healing and expanding consciousness. They form part of an ancient healing tradition that dates back thousands of years. Often people experience a deeper connection with the sound after an oil annointing.
People often ask how does sound healing work and how can it benefit me? Research has proven that sound therapy can induce a state of meditation, clear energetic blockages, unlock emotions, reduce muscle tension, facilitate overall healing on a physical and mental level. Other benefits also include, lower stress levels, relaxation and improving sleep quality.
Medical visionaries such as Deepak Chopra have proclaimed, "The universe is sound, our bodies are orchestras that can be tuned and made healthy with music, mantras, and many other sonic modalities.”
We use a range of different instruments in our meditation sound journey - Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, gongs and a range of other percussion instruments. One of the gongs we use is a Universe gong which can take people into a transcendental meditation.
