ABOUT THE BRANDS
W A B A N O O N K W E — Nocturnal Rose Anishinaabe designer Wabanoonkwe presents Nocturnal Rose, a couture collection celebrating romance, purity, and dark mystery through delicate feminine lines and meticulously tailored silhouettes. Rendered in white, soft pink, and black with sculpted rose motifs reminiscent of traditional beadwork, the garments pair velvet and liquid satin to create a cinematic, luminous runway experience.
Leidy beibi — Perreo Couture: Sacred Trash Mexico City-born, Montreal-based designer Kadisha Hernández presents Leidy beibi's Perreo Couture: Sacred Trash — the latest chapter of her ongoing series merging quinceañera aesthetics, perreo culture, and Catholic symbolism into radical, hand-embellished garments. Corsetry, lingerie construction, and sportswear details collide in a collection that unapologetically elevates the discarded and corrupts the sacred, demanding contradiction be recognized as its own form of power.
Charlize Therrien — Remains Montreal-trained designer Charlize Therrien presents Remains, a collection that began with a single animal bone and grew into an exploration of memory, fragility, and what endures after decay. Through natural fibers, leather, fur, and her own latex technique, Therrien's garments shift between softness and structure — quiet but commanding, finding beauty in the banal and power in what persists.
Tiina Sarayev — Power Struggle Tiina Sarayev presents Power Struggle, an intimate and edgy collection exploring the oppressive dynamics that marriage can impose on a relationship. Known for meticulously crafted corsets, tailored jackets, and sculpted dresses, the brand channels tension and shifting foundations into made-to-measure silhouettes that blur the traditional boundaries between strength, vulnerability, and righteousness.
Jejune — Replika Montreal-based designer Sophie Liptay-Abbott presents Jejune's Replika, a collection shaped by three years of working at Café Replika in the Plateau. Drawing from coffee culture, daily ritual, and the intimacy of familiar faces, the work translates musical texture into textile language — harmony becomes layering, rhythm becomes repetition — building a collection through accumulation, slowness, and quiet observation.
Ayimach Horizons - Rainbow, Illuminosity and the Dream Rainbow, Illuminosity and the Dream is a multidisciplinary fashion and visual art collection by Ayimach_Horizons that positions Indigenous futurism at the intersection of ancestral knowledge, ecological consciousness, and radical creative vision. This collection is a living artwork — worn on the body, displayed in space, and dreamed into being through the ancient understanding that land, light, and identity are inseparable.
