Our afternoon will begin with lunch at The Ivy — one of London’s most iconic and celebrated restaurants. Established in 1917, The Ivy is renowned for its elegant surroundings, impeccable service, and classic British cuisine with a contemporary touch. It has long been a favourite dining destination for theatre-goers and notable figures alike, making it the perfect setting to begin our summer gathering.
Following lunch, we will attend a matinée performance of Oliver! featuring the beloved number “Food, Glorious Food.” Based on Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist, Lionel Bart’s award-winning musical brings to life the adventures of young Oliver as he navigates the streets of Victorian London. With its memorable songs, vibrant characters, and enduring charm, Oliver! remains one of Britain’s most treasured stage productions.
