WELCOME to Edge4Vets!

Our Free in-person workshop helps you translate your military strengths into "tools" for civilian success, then we connect you to decision-makers at our partner companies to explore opportunities for good jobs that can lead to great careers.

Join us Thursday, February 29, from 1pm to 4pm when Fordham will host our next in-person session at the Lincoln Center Campus - in partnership with the NYC Dept of Veterans' Services and NYC-SHRM.

The workshop, which is conducted by the Human Resiliency Institute in the Gabelli School of Business, will be held in Fordham's Lowenstein Building in the 12th Floor Conference Room at 113 W. 60 St, New York, NY 10023. Register today!

THREE WAYS Edge4Vets provides you with "in person" support:

1. On Feb 29 we'll introduce you to business leaders and HR reps (decision makers from our partner companies) who will work with you in small-groups to help you identify your strengths from the military, including Values and Skills. We'll teach you how to translate your military strengths for civilian success. Mentors will provide support and get you started on creating a personal PLAN4SUCCESS for an "edge" to get hired.

2. Following the workshop we'll give you access to our Edge4Vets online course for those who wish to take their strengths-translation preparation from the workshop to the next level. Through a series of short videos and exercises, the online course will guide you to refine your PLAN and put it into final form before you submit it to earn your Edge4Vets Certificate.

3. Also, we'll give those who participate in the workshop a list of the HR reps from our partner companies. You'll be able to contact them for help to MATCH your skills and interests from your personal PLAN to explore opportunities at their companies - and line up interviews.

All of this is designed to put you on a pathway to success in civilian life.
