About this Event
Nurturing Wellbeing Perinatal Sessions
Whether you're expecting or recently had your baby, join us in person for the Nurturing Wellbeing Perinatal Sessions, designed to support you through pregnancy and early parenthood. These friendly, relaxed meet-ups offer a safe space to connect, share experiences, and learn tips to boost your wellbeing during this special time. These sessions are parent-focused as you can't pour from an empty cup, but pre-crawling babies are very welcome!
Each session will be a gentle and social mix of nature-inspired activity (something mindful, creative and fun). The sessions will be indoors through Winter and Spring, moving outdoors when the weather allows.
You'll learn the basics of food-growing and discover ways to nurture and tend to your own mental health.
Our award-winning Growing Wellbeing self-care syllabus forms the basis of all MindFood sessions, so we'll be exploring a rolling programme of wellbeing themes over a nice cuppa:
- Week 1 Five Ways to Wellbeing
- Week 2 Introduction to Mindfulness
- Week 3 Pause, Rest, Sleep
- Week 4 Planning Wellbeing
- Week 5 Brain Food
- Week 6 The Mind as an Ecosystem
All our tips and techniques are evidence-based, and we can share the info with you by email so you can come back to them whenever you need them. Here's what our participants are saying about their experience at MindFood:
- 88% say they feel that their mental health has been improved as a result of coming to MindFood, with 86% saying they feel calmer.
- 91% say they feel less isolated as a result of coming to MindFood.
- 72% say they're sleeping better
- 93% feel more connected to nature
