The federal parliament’s nuclear power inquiry is holding a hearing in Naarm/Melbourne on Wednesday, Dec 4.Victoria's Latrobel Valley is one of the sites being targeted for nuclear reactors by the Dutton Coalition. Only 150 km from the capital.
Please join us outside the inquiry from 8am to 9am to voice our opposition to Dutton’s plan to build nuclear reactors, to prolong and expand the use of fossil fuels, and to derail the renewable energy transition. Please bring placards and banners.
Also, it would be great to have a good turnout of silent presence inside the hearing (commenting on social media on the hearing) , beginning at 9am. The hearing schedule will be posted online and will include speakers for and against Dutton's nuclear plans.
