Discover the future of defense innovation at the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN)’s Foundry Startup Studio Showcase! This exclusive pitch event gathers entrepreneurs, Department of Defense technologists, and industry leaders to explore innovative solutions addressing key national security challenges.

After a 16-week studio experience, founders will present their ventures focused on commercializing advanced technologies in AI, machine learning, AR/VR, and sensors.

The showcase offers the opportunity to network with government and industry stakeholders and witness how public-private partnerships foster groundbreaking solutions. The top teams will compete for a chance to win $50,000 in prizes, recognizing the most impactful solutions.

Foundry is a National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) program powered by FedTech. NSIN is a component of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program office that seeks to build networks of innovators that generate new solutions to national security problems.

Teams of selected applicants (entrepreneurs) collaborate with DoD scientists and technologists to assess the market viability and commercialization potential of these innovations. With extensive training in Lean Startup principles, entrepreneurs are given the opportunity to form new ventures around cutting-edge technologies. At the same time, DoD researchers gain valuable insights into the market potential and development pathways for their technologies.

The National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) is a component of the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program office. We are set up to collaborate with a wide variety of innovators to include universities, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and start-ups. We create opportunities for collaboration across communities and connect those that might not traditionally work in national security. Together, we help drive national security innovation and develop technologies that directly support the individuals responsible for protecting our country.
