There is a $75 charge for the workshop and is restricted to 20 seats. NOTE: There will be no refunds, however, you may apply the fee to the next workshop. If you plan to attend the workshop, please contact Dr. Mickey Hall, [email protected], (864) 885-2197 for registration information and class availability. A study packet for the SC NPIP Tester’s exam will be sent to you prior to your attendance at the workshop, please read over this material before coming to class.
The workshop will be held at Clemson University’s Livestock Poultry Health Facility at 500 Clemson Road in Columbia, SC at Exit 80 off of I-20.
Hotels: At Exit No. 80 off of I-20. If you need to stay in a hotel, the Holiday Inn Express (803-419-3558) and Hampton Inn (803-788-4901) are located at I-20 and the Clemson Road exit.
DIRECTIONS TO CU LIVESTOCK POULTRY HEALTH:
From Columbia: Take I-20 East toward Florence. Get off at Exit #80, the Clemson Road Exit. Turn Left onto Clemson Road and go 1.6 miles (do not follow your GPS) and CU Livestock Poultry Health Lab will be on your right,. Brown brick building.
From Florence: Take 1-20 West toward Columbia. Get off at Exit #80, the Clemson Road Exit. Turn right onto Clemson Road and go 1.6 miles (do not follow your GPS) and CU Livestock Poultry Health Lab will be on your right. Brown brick building
You must be pre-registered. Registration is due by Monday, April 6 , 2026. NO walk-ins on the day of the workshop.
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME AN NPIP TESTER:
(1) Must be at least 18 years of age.
(2) Must have photo ID (to prove that you are the person taking exam!)
(3) Must bring reading glasses if you have difficulty reading close up or at a distance.
(4) Wearing a mask suggested
