THE DESIGNERS
Andra Gheorghiu
BLOC44 is a San Francisco-based, female-owned fashion brand founded by Romanian-born creative director Andra Gheorghiu. What began in 2022 as reworking denim scraps in her apartment grew into a brand centered on personal expression, sustainability, and intentional design. Inspired by her upbringing, family craftsmanship, and a turning point during 2020, Andra created BLOC44 to produce one-of-a-kind, handmade pieces from repurposed vintage materials—designed to be meaningful, lasting, and beyond trends.
This collection expands the BLOC44 world through themes of duality, reconstruction, and emotional contrast. It explores cycles of love, lust, death, and rebirth through a tension between vulnerability and protection, softness and aggression, intimacy and armor. Blending sportswear, military influences, reconstructed denim, lace, and transparency, the collection feels raw, personal, and emotionally charged while remaining grounded in wearable structure.

Haydee Quesedo
Haydee is a fashion designer rooted in San Francisco, fueled by an immense passion for garment construction, textile design, and the art of sewing. Continuously pushing boundaries, she thrives on exploring diverse silhouettes and textiles, constantly stepping beyond her comfort zone. Her creative process is deeply influenced by the vast compositions and textures surrounding her, as well as the things she was drawn to while growing up, such as dancing, cooking, and technology. She was trained in garment construction from the age of five by helping her mother sew and mimicking what she did. Through that early exposure, she discovered her passion at a young age, though it was only years later that she had the opportunity to pursue it as a career. She loves music, coffee, and singing while sewing. Now, with over 12 years of experience, she is creating beautiful bespoke garments for a select clientele.
“Rebellious” combines two of her favorite influences: flamenco dancing and rock music. She collaborated with textile designer Jen Chu and jewelry and metal arts designer Mercede Sheybani on this collection. Irreverent and bold, it challenges societal norms around gender and contemporary beauty standards.

Ashlyn So
Ashlyn So is a couture fashion designer known for sculptural silhouettes, cultural storytelling, and emotionally resonant design. Blending Asian and American influences, her work explores identity, climate awareness, mental health, and social justice that were showcased from Paris to New York Fashion Week. She has been featured in Vogue, Teen Vogue, The Ellen Show, the Tamron Hall show and an award-winning ABC short documentary. She is a YoungArts Winner with Distinction and E! People’s Choice Awardee who has spoken at the UN’s International Day of Peace. Beyond the runway, Ashlyn creates custom gowns for women seeking distinctive, high-impact pieces for galas and red carpets. These gowns are wearable art tailored to empower the woman who wears it.
Recolored is a journey back to our true selves. Like thriving coral reefs, we are born full of color, hope, and possibility. But life’s pressures, expectations, and the push to conform can fade that vibrancy. This collection is about renewal, finding the courage to live in truth, love, and kindness, and helping others do the same. Just as reefs can only regrow through collective care, we too thrive when we lift each other up. Recolored is both a metaphor and a call to action: to protect what is fragile, nurture what is unique, and celebrate the full spectrum of life.
