Join Sustainable North Grenville for our signature event of the year — a vibrant, community-driven day of learning, connection, and inspiration as we welcome the return of spring.
The North Grenville Sustainability Fair brings together neighbours, families, local businesses, and community organizations to explore practical, accessible ways to live more sustainably — right here in our region.
What You’ll Experience
EV Show
Explore one of the largest electric vehicle displays in Eastern Ontario. See a wide range of models, take test drives, and speak directly with local EV owners who will be sharing their real-world experiences driving in our Canadian climate.
Learn how electric vehicles can reduce fuel and maintenance costs — especially for those of us living in rural communities and commuting longer distances — while also lowering emissions.
Green Home Showcase
Meet local experts and discover practical ways to make your home more energy-efficient, comfortable, and resilient.
Explore solutions such as:
• Heat pumps for efficient heating and cooling
• Solar energy and battery storage systems
• High-performance, low-impact building approaches
• Home upgrades and renovations that reduce waste
With rising energy costs and increasing interest in energy independence, this is a valuable opportunity to learn what’s possible for your home — often with long-term cost savings.

Kids’ Zone
Families are warmly welcomed. In the Kids’ Zone, children can enjoy creative, hands-on activities such as planting seeds, making crafts and cards, and exploring books and activities with volunteers from the North Grenville Public Library.
This is a space for families to explore together — introducing sustainability in a fun, engaging, and accessible way.
