Night Zero โ The night before the big event. The one you swear youโll take it easy โ but never do.
Night Zero is the pre-party that becomes the main event, the night out you didnโt see coming but wonโt soon forget.
And now, itโs a band.
Night Zero brings together some of the jam sceneโs most revered players for a raw, unscripted throw-down that blends rock, funk, jazz, deep improvisation, and psychedelic jams!
The core lineup is a one-of-a-kind fusion of styles and personalities, rarely seen together on one stage.
Rob Compa (Dopapod/Neighbor), known for his mind-bending guitar work and precision improvisation.
Zdenek Gubb (Twiddle), whose unmistakable bass tone and groove drive every jam with grit and finesse.
Adrian Tramontano (Kung Fu/Twiddle/Reprise), a rhythmic powerhouse with jaw-dropping chops and relentless energy.
Leon Campos (Dwight & Nicole), whose warm, soulful keys bring depth and color to every note.
These are players who donโt just complement each other โ they push each other, unlocking something new every time they play.
The kind of chemistry you canโt plan, only discover โ when the right musicians collide at the right moment.

Weird Phishes is exactly what it sounds like โ the iconic, melancholy rock songs of Radiohead completely reborn as danceable, crunchy jams. With full-album performances, unexpected mashups, and gluey funk-driven improvisation, their jam-heavy take on alt-rock classics has sparked an unexpected energy in audiences across the Northeast.
Cleverly avoiding the โtributeโ trope, Weird Phishes continues to push the envelope of what a mashup band can be, delivering performances that need to be experienced in order to be believed.
Formed in 2019, Weird Phishes solidified their place in the New England jam community, headlining performances in Boston, Burlington, Portland, and throughout the Northeast/Midwest. Weird Phishes made their post-COVID return in 2021, headlining the inaugural Safe and Soundz festival, and kept busy before returning home for a performance at the legendary Paradise Rock Club in December 2022.
The band had a busy 2023, trodding new ground with full-album performances spanning multiple cities, debuting their fully reimagined rendition of โKid Aโ at Crystal Ballroom, a performance of โOK Computerโ at Albanyโs Lark Hall, and a two-hour performance of โIn Rainbowsโ in Cambridge, MA at The Middle East Downstairs to a nearly sold-out crowd at the end of the year.
Weird Phishes looks forward to a 2025 full of ever-changing setlists, surprise album performances, and a passionate, growing fanbase.
