About this Event
As a new year begins, it invites us to pause, reflect and consciously choose how we want to feel, live and grow. In this Positive Pottery Painting and Creative Affirmations workshop, you will choose a piece of pottery and paint on your affirmations.
The session is designed to help you set meaningful intentions for the year ahead through affirmations, and transform them into a beautiful keepsake you’ll carry with you long after the session ends, — something you can place in your home as a daily prompt to reconnect with your affirmations and stay aligned with the energy you’ve chosen for the year.
Guided by intention, you’ll choose words, affirmations, symbols or colours that reflect what you wish to welcome into the year ahead — abundance, calm, confidence, joy, self-love or renewal. This is more than decoration; it’s an act of manifestation.
How it works:
1. Before you come, think about your affirmation for 2026, what is it you want to remind yourself of on a daily basis? We will bring along our deck of Affirmations to the table and you are welcome to pull a card on the day, if you need some inspiration! You can also take this home with you!
2. Choose your piece of pottery from our range of beautiful handmade pieces – start thinking now about your design!
3. We’ll get you started – with everything from how to use the paints to how to get the best results from our decorating sponges.
4. Have fun and get creative – you have 2 hours to brainstorm, relax and paint, and studio assistants are on hand if you need any extra help.
4. Leave it with us – then come and pick up your items, glazed and fired. You will be quoted a date for collection of your finished item(s) which is normally around 7-10 days after your painting session.
Please note all of our paints are water-based, non-toxic, and wash out easily, so please don’t worry about any mess!
