New Year Fire Ceremony on the Beach

Ring in the first day of the Chinese new year with an epic fire ceremony right on the sandy shore of Ocean Beach! Join us for an unforgettable in-person celebration filled with warmth, light, and good vibes to welcome The Year of the Fire Horse.

The Year of the Fire Horse occurs just once every 60 years, and is symbolically seen as a period of intense forward motion, creative force, and transformative potential, urging humanity to act with both courage and awareness.

• Participate in a guided meditation and drumming circle around a fire on the beach
• Let go of anything that doesn’t serve you, symbolically burning it in the fire or casting into the ocean
• Set bold and inspiring new year’s intentions
• Receive sage smudging to clear your chakras
• Share a hot drink with this beautiful community

This is a free event, but we request you RSVP here on Eventbrite so we know how many people will be attending. We'd also appreciate any donations to offset the cost of supplies and the cacao.

Be sure to dress warmly, bring a blanket or chair to sit in, and a percussion instrument if you have one to play during the drumming circle.
