About this Event
Our studio is lovingly shared with three resident cats who add to the creative atmosphere. đ±đ±đ± They might curl up nearby or come to investigate your work, and you're more than welcome to enjoy their company once we've finished painting.

Discover a freer, more playful way to paint with watercolour - no experience or artistic âtalentâ required.
If youâve ever felt intimidated by watercolour or frustrated trying to make every painting look perfect, this workshop is for you. Instead of focusing on precision, youâll learn how to embrace the beautiful unpredictability of watercolour through experimentation, texture, and creative play.
In this relaxed session, youâll explore non-traditional approaches using everyday materials like salt, cling wrap, tea, straws, and toothbrushes to create abstract effects, layered washes, and organic textures. Each exercise is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help you loosen up creatively.
This is a space to slow down, explore freely, and enjoy the process of making art. This means allowing yourself the freedom to play, respond, and create intuitively as you uncover new ways of seeing and painting with watercolour.
By the end of the workshop, youâll leave with unique abstract pieces, new creative techniques, and a fresh perspective on what watercolour can be.
