Celebrate the traditions of the Dragon Boat Festival with our hands-on Bak Chang Making Workshop.
In this beginner-friendly cultural experience, participants will learn the traditional art of making Bak Chang (traditional rice dumplings) from scratch — from wrapping the bamboo leaves to filling and securing the dumplings properly.
Guided step-by-step, this workshop offers a meaningful way to explore the heritage and stories behind one of the most iconic Dragon Boat Festival foods.
No prior experience is needed — just come ready to learn, create, and enjoy the festive experience.
✨ What You’ll Experience:
• Learn traditional Bak Chang leaf wrapping techniques
• Hands-on experience wrapping and tying your own Bak Chang
• Watch a live demonstration of the Bak Chang ingredients and filling preparation by the instructor
• Learn useful tips on how to prepare and cook Bak Chang at home
• Each participant will bring home 2 handmade Bak Chang to cook and enjoy later
