Join Meghan Dwyer ceremonialist and shamanic guide for a special despacho ceremony on the Sunday closest to the new moon. The new moon is for planting seeds - of the hopes desires + dreams - for our lives and our communities. Each month will be guided by the energy of the sign that the current new moon is in.
A despacho (or haywariquy in the Quechua language) is a ceremonial offering from the Andean Mountain tradition that can also be created to manifest personal and collective intentions. It involves crafting a "bundle" - of flowers bits of food elements from the natural world + other ritual items - in order to extend our gratitude + prayers to the Earth Cosmos + Spirit World.
Expect breath + gentle movement in order to center + ground ourselves before the ceremony. No mat is needed but wear comfortable clothing.
Bring (optional) very small items magazine clippings or drawings to be added to the despacho that represent or embody the dreams + desires you’d like to manifest in your life + the world. Use your intuition + be creative. It’s like a different form of a vision board with a 3D aspect.
