Join like-minded business owners to discuss marketing challenges, find solutions and learn from shared experience.
Running a business can be very rewarding — but it can also be isolating.
The Networking and Marketing Workshops are the ideal place to discuss marketing, improve your understanding and practice and see marketing as a holistic practice for your business which is more than social media.
The workshops are designed as a series of 6 that go through a number of areas of marketing: Marketing Strategy on A Page (workshop 1), Review your Brand and Messaging (workshop 2), Website and SEO (workshop 3), Social Media Marketing (workshop 4), Email Marketing (workshop 5), Partnerships and your final marketing playbook (workshop 6).
The agenda for Workshop 1 is:
- Marketing talk - Review or create your Marketing Strategy on a Page.
- Share your challenge and get help from the group.
- Faciliated peer discussion, shared experience, feedback and ideas.
- Connect and network.
The Marketing Strategy on a Page is based on the book by Allan Dibs, One Page Marketing Plan which is a great format to have all your marketing elements in one page. The workshop will also follow the GROW model (goals, reality, options and will), a great way to set goals, track progress and review.

A bit of background
The workshops will be facilitated by Laura Shimili Mears, photographer and business mentor. Her role when faciliating the workshops is to guide, keep the conversation focused, and create a space where everyone can share and learn.
