Herken je deze krachtige roep? Het komt uit de beroemde aria Nessun Dorma (Laat Niemand Slapen) uit Puccini’s opera Turandot. Deze aria, een symbool van liefde en wanhoop, wordt wereldwijd herinnerd dankzij Luciano Pavarotti’s legendarische vertolking met de iconische witte zakdoek.
Giacomo Puccini, de meesterlijke Italiaanse componist, heeft ons gezegend met een schat aan onvergetelijke opera’s. Tijdens onze voorstelling brengen we enkele van zijn meest iconische aria’s tot leven: O Mio Babbino Caro uit Gianni Schicchi, Che Gelida Manina uit La Bohème, het betoverende Humming Choir uit Madama Butterfly, en natuurlijk Nessun Dorma uit Turandot.

We hebben de eer om een getalenteerd ensemble te presenteren: sopraan Elenora Hu, winnares van het TV-programma ARIA in 2021, tenor Eric Reddet, bekend van zijn deelname aan het TV-programma Maestro, en pianist Aliya Iskhakova, die de muzikale begeleiding verzorgt. Tevens zal Annemieke Jansen optreden als verteller, die de verhalen en emoties van Puccini’s muziek op een bijzondere manier tot leven zal brengen.
