We gather to connect and create, learning the simple and effective methods of natural dyeing and printing.Wednesday Monthly
Morning Session - 10am to 2pm
Evening Session - 4pm to 8pm
We will create samples with local plants to build our plant and fiber knowledge.
I have prepared cotton and paper fabric using the soya bean and rust mordant methods - Bring a notepad as I will share the process so you can experiment at home. We will also document our findings to develop future projects.
While we wait for the bundling process to steam/boil we will rest for a shared break, with tasty snacks provided - you are welcome to bring along produce to share if it feels easy.
If we have time we will also play with my printed and dyed fabric - patch up old clothes, start small projects, paint with pH modifiers. So many FUN ideas to play with.
Bring your own clothing/material to upcycle and we can discuss ways to experiment - the rusty mordant will be available to use on the day.
Classes are $88 with materials included. I am also up for discounts / trades and other forms of reciprocity if money transactions are limited for you right now, just send me a message to secure your spot <3
Space is intimate - so places are limited.
