About this Event
You're invited to attend the RMHC VIC & TAS premier screening of Audrey's Children. A film that tells the inspiring true story of Dr. Audrey Evans who joined the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in 1969. Faced with sexism and resistance from her peers, Dr. Evans revolutionized the treatment of childhood cancer, particularly neuroblastoma, which had a survival rate of only 10% at the time. Her ground-breaking work led to the establishment of the first Ronald McDonald House, providing essential support for families of young patients.
