About this Event
Join Nigel and other members of the Wollaton Natural History Society for a relaxed day spotting vibrant summer wildflowers and the fascinating insects that call the park home.
Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or just looking for a pleasant summer walk, everyone is welcome!
The day is split into two parts.
Morning: The Walled Garden (11:00 AM)
Explore the hidden ecosystem of the historic walled garden, including the apiary.
Meet at the entrance to the walled garden, close to the 508 Cafe.
Note: there is a £2 entry fee for the walled garden.
Afternoon option: The Wider Park (2:00 PM)
As an optional extension, we’ll head out to explore the formal gardens and the scenic lakeside to see what else we can discover.
Meet in the courtyard near the main cafe.
Grab your sun hat and your curiosity, we look forward to seeing you there!
Registration essential - In the event of heavy rain or high winds, we’ll only be able to notify those on our sign-up list of any last-minute changes.
