About this Event
Join us for National River Cleanup Day! We'd love your help picking up litter from the roads and trails around the Environmental Education Center (EEC) to help keep our waterways and wetlands clean!
Please note, volunteers under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. We are happy to sign off on volunteer hours.
Other Considerations:
- Driving Directions: We recommend using Google Maps to navigate to 1751 Grand Blvd, Alviso.
- Wear comfortable clothing, long pants, sun protection and layers, and closed-toe shoes - all that you don't mind getting dirty! We will provide gloves and all other tools and supplies for this event.
- Restrooms will be available on-site in the form of an ADA-compliant portable toilet and hand-washing station.
- Please note that dogs are not allowed at this unit of the Refuge.
- Snacks will be provided! Bring filled reusable water bottles.
