Join us on a hike through many sections of Wissahickon Valley Park as we explore Wissahickon and Cresheim Creeks, and the hills that surround them. Our exploration will take us on trails on both sides of Wissahickon creek, and along the Cresheim Creek trails offering beautiful views. Trails are rocky and there are hills! We will keep a moderate pace and will stop midway through the hike for a quick snack break. Distance 7- 9 miles, anticipated hike time 3.5-4.5 hours depending on the pace of the group. Bring along plenty of water and snacks and dress for the weather.
Steady rain cancels - if in doubt please check the status on Meetup by 7am the morning of the hike or contact leader with any questions. Logistics: We will meet at the corner of West Mount Airy Avenue and Mount Airy Terrace - there is plenty of street parking available.
