About this Event
Naqi Rizvi: Vision Beyond Sight: A Champion’s Journey
At Ramadan at Kismet, we gather not only to break our fast, but to break barriers.
Naqi graduated with First Class Honours in Industrial Engineering and completed his Master’s in Systems Engineering at University College London. He now works in financial services with over a decade of professional experience — while simultaneously becoming the UK and world number one male Blind Tennis player.
From running full marathons to delivering two TEDx talks, winning public speaking championships, and raising nearly £1 million for sight loss charities, Naqi embodies excellence without limits.
Half Indian, half Pakistani, and rooted in global experience, his journey speaks to resilience, identity, faith, discipline, and service. His work in advocacy, inclusivity, sport, and social justice challenges us to rethink ability, leadership, and purpose.
During this powerful Ramadan evening, Naqi will share:
- His journey through sport and professional life as a blind athlete
- What true inclusion really looks like in our communities
- Lessons on resilience, leadership and mindset
- How faith and purpose shape strength
This is an evening for anyone who believes that limitations are not the end of the story.
Come for inspiration.
Leave with perspective.
