Join artist Jackson Carey and professional aquascaper Anthony Bui in the lush setting of Allan Gardens for a hands-on workshop where we’ll create our own nano planted aquariums.
With expert guidance, participants will learn the fundamentals of designing and caring for planted aquariums, and will return home with their own living aquatic world featuring a variety of aquatic plant species from Tropica Aquarium Plants, who are sponsoring this event!
This workshop will not include the addition of live animals to your aquarium. We will, however, discuss the care of Neocaridina shrimp and how they can be introduced once your aquarium is home and established.
All materials are provided, including:
• Glass bowl aquarium
• Aquarium plant soil
• Natural Driftwood
• Four unique species of aquatic plants
• Sand
Warm herbal tea will also be available to enjoy while you build, connect with nature, and tap into your creativity.
This workshop is beginner friendly.
