We are proud to welcome Kate and Jake Goldbas for a special musical story time inspired by Kate’s debut picture book and original song, I Wish That I Could Be a Whale! When it’s time for bed, one curious child’s imagination is just waking up. What would it be like to sing like a whale, swing like a monkey, or build like a beaver? Following the reading, families are invited to purchase signed copies of I Wish That I Could Be a Whale and meet the author Kate Goldbas!
Kate Goldbas is an opera singer, author and early childhood educator who created her debut picture book I Wish That I Could Be a Whale as a musical guessing game for her animal-loving son. Through school residencies and library concerts, the song has delighted thousands of children.
