About this Event
An Evening of Music for Inclusion and Impact
Join us for a meaningful evening where music becomes a force for good.
Hosted by Veenalayam School of Music, this special benefit concert brings together talented musicians for a night of soulful vocal and instrumental performances — blending Carnatic music with popular South Asian songs — all in support of SAAAC Autism Centre, a Toronto-based charity dedicated to making autism services equitable and accessible for children, youth, adults, and families.
At the heart of this evening is a shared belief: that art has the power to connect people, build empathy, and strengthen communities. Proceeds from the event will directly support SAAAC’s culturally responsive programs that help autistic individuals thrive and provide critical support to families..
Founded and led by renowned veena artist Isai Kalaimani Jeyanthe Ratnakumar, alongside her daughter Priyah Ratnakumar, Veenalayam School of Music is rooted in a deep love for music, mentorship, and community. Through their performance platform Vision Raga, they create space for musicians to share their craft while giving back in meaningful ways.
This thoughtfully curated program offers something familiar and something new — a musical experience designed to be enjoyed by all, while making a lasting impact for autistic individuals and their families.
